I saw this on Amazon last week and after reading the reviews, which were phenomenal, I purchased this unit. It arrived yesterday by FedEx freight. I didn’t time how long it took me to assemble the unit, but I worked alone. My estimate from start to finish is two hours. It was very easy to put together following the instructions and not only is it a beautiful piece of furniture. It appears to be very well-made. the fireplace insert is beautiful and you can change the color of the accent in the logs and the fire to nine different settings. I particularly like it because it also has a heater built-in and if it gets a little cool in the living room instead of turning up the thermostat, I will simply turn this on for a minute or two and it regulates the temperature in the room. I will warn you that when removing the two screws from the corner of the face for the protective glass do not do that with the unit laying on its back. I had the screw fall off of the screwdriver and go down through the heat great, which meant I had to remove the entire back of the fireplace assembly, About 30 screws, to retrieve the screw that I dropped. If you wait to do that until after the fireplace is installed in the unit that is impossible to do. Anyway, you can’t go wrong with this unit with 75% of the reviews being five star and the other 25% being four star this is a quality product. It came in two boxes and in the main box there were sacrificial boards that were part of the packing to keep the unit from sustaining any damage . Great product, well-made, well packed, easy to assemble and beautiful in any room.
