This works well, angle adjustment is nice, only wish you could turn it down to a lower setting without it going out.I have several butane torches and believe it or not this one works the bestHold gas for a long time and is very powerfulSometimes flares up. But nice for the priceQuality material- easy to useVery powerful and the lowest setting is pretty much perfect?This torch doesn't provide enough heat to work for desired useI use, and intend to continue to use this torch as a shop aid. Even though it appears marketed as a cooking tool. I have never been satisfied with butane jet lighters/torches that I've used over the years. I've yet to find one that lasts. Hopefully with this review, you can decide if it's suitable for your needs. This so far is a great convenience tool for me, and fits the need perfectly at the right price for applications where using a propane or map torch is too much. Will update review if this end up not lasting.This torch, feels and operates very well. A couple quirks are, the adjuster wheel, when turned all the way minimum, would not support keeping the flame going even when full. Secondly, the lock trigger lock worked splendidly in the lit position (see picture). On high setting, significant heat projected out to 12-14 inches. When locked in the unlit position; you could still depress the trigger enough for gas to come out, even though the igniter wouldn't fire. The fill nozzle worked very well. My little can of Weller butane fit perfectly over it, and it filled up very neatly, and very full.I was most impressed with the Aluminum nozzle cover. It dissipated heat fantastically. When burning continuously for 2 mins, I could still tough the red aluminum portion with no problem. The silver trim areas however did become too hot to touch and would burn you at 2 mins. I was also able to swivel the nozzle repeatedly while flame was lit, without extinguishing it. Nice feature.My burn data is:0-5 mins: Continuous flame between medium-high setting. At 5 mins the flame would not stay lit on medium anymore5-6.5 mins: Continuous flame on high setting only.6.5-8 mins: I could get anywhere from 5-20 second burns with the remaining fuel during this time before it went empty completely.
