Love this cover. I bought this to cover our newly built fire pit before Monsoon season and it has been holding up great. 10 out of 10Purchased April 2021 - Worked well for about a year. I noticed it was very difficult to tighten the lower skirt, I think the rope and material were incompatible and would create friction. After about 16 months all of the edging and stitching disintegrated. My hands were full of black powder. Mine was full elements and full sun for reference. So far this cover is holding up well and hasn't faded in color. Is definitely waterproof and protects my firebowl column from the elements. Good price. We'll see how it does this winter in New England. That will be the true test.I wanted a quick inexpensive cover. The Texas Sun and Heat will eat these covers up quickly.Pro's:- It's big and can fit a larger fire pit with accessories on top of the pit (I have a grill stand on mine)- It's deep/Tall and can cover not just a large diameter, but height as well- It has clips you can clip to the bottom of the firepit which I didn't realize at first. That's very nice.- It has a cinch cord at the bottom (See also Cons)Cons- It's flimsy, BUT it will keep water out- It's flimsy, so much so that the wind blew it off the fire pit multiple times before I realized it had the bottom clips.- The cinch cord doesn't work well. You have full access to it, but tightening the cord, is like trying to re-run a cord through a hoodie. It just doesn't cinch well.- Because it doesn't cinch at the bottom well and it's about as thick as a bed sheet, the wind will blow it from covering the fire pit even with the bottom clips attached. Simple solution was to puts a few small bricks on top of the cover on the fire pit. Viola, it doesn't blow off any more. (My other solution considered was to duct tape weights to the inside to keep it down, I just happen to have bricks lying around.)Overall, this is acceptable to me for what I paid for this. Eventually I'll find the cover of my dreams (I don't really dream about it) and buy that, but for the Texas rainy season this will work great with the above caveats. In the summer I fully expect it will fade and become brittle but that's just Texas direct summer sun. By then I'll have a permanent solution.I use this to cover my fire pit, I good quality, water resistant, I like this cover slot thank you.Overall I like this cover as it fits our gas fire pit perfectly and the provided corner guards are a nice touch to protect it from tearing. We had one that covered the chairs too but with the high Fall/Winter winds where we live (Northwest) it ripped at every corner so opted for just a pit cover this time. Time will tell how well the cover and corner guards handle the weather, 4 stars for durability and material quality assuming the fit will prevent it from tearing, will update if otherwise. 3 stars for water resistance because it’s not waterproof, more like water-resistant but I don’t really care as wanted it more to just extend the life/look, keeping our outdoor furniture waterproof seems pointless. Our pit has a cover over the gas/fire section so if you need it to keep moisture out of that area then would look for a hard cover, not something soft.Slightly water resistant definitely not waterproof. Traps in moisture.Flimsy material blows around easily. You get less than what you pay for. Avoid.I had a hard time finding a suitable protector for my Veradek Kitchen square counter (21" x 21" x 31H") until I found this one that fits like a glove, good material, open vents, secure at the bottom. There is some water that forms on the top shelf, and that's due to evaporation, not due to water leak. This works fantastic so far, winter has come and it seems to be holding well too.Was just ordering a new fire pit cover as my previous one has ripped. Looked through old orders to see what I had before (this one) and noticed that I only brought it last March, so basically its lasted a year. Was great through the winter, the cover did not leak and kept my pit like new really well. But notice the rip a few months back and it has just got worse, basically the whole side now. Sad but the plastic is obviously not tough enough to last, I will be getting a tougher one this time.I wanted a cover for our rattan table to stop the rain getting between the glass and the weave, it fits perfectly, it was a fair price, and it arrived well ahead of the scheduled delivery window.Bought this cover for the fire pit . It is a perfect fit and excellent quality and value for moneyA very good quality cover, not the usual plastic. It is large and very waterproof with ties around the bottomIt's a great fire pit cover, but just wish I'd ordered the next size, as it fits a bit too snug.
