Was worried there wouldn't be enough for both the fireplaces in our home, but I definitely shouldn't have been, as we completely replaced the current pieces we had, filled both to overblowing and still have more than half the bag left. You couod use these for all sorts of different thingsmas well, aquarium gravel, garden accents, mosaics, vase filler..... I dont know, the skys the limit really. But these are quite beautiful and worked lovely for our fireplace. Have withstood the heat without any noticeable cracking no problem.
