Very nice, SAFE heater / fireplace. But, you have to put it together (2 to 3 hours). So, what is nice about it. For starters it is very attractive and larger than most portable heater / fireplaces. This one is 30 inches tall and 32 inches wide, but only 9 inches thick.More good news, it is CSA certified and has a UL plug. Moreover, it automatically shuts off when tipped over--great safety features.Other features include: a remote with total control; partial control on the unit itself, a THERMOSTAT with programmable temperature and time; a shelf top and nice style, color and design.In addition, the flame has 3 settings, and can work independently from the heater--nice. Lastly, it heats my two hundred square foot room by itself with no problem.To wrap things up, this heater / fireplace is a good value for your money as long as it lasts for several years. Oh, I have used it for about two weeks now--no problems. However, I do suggest that with any of these types of heaters, you should plug it in and test the heater/fireplace mechanics and remote for twenty minutes or so BEFORE you put it together.
